Michele & Randy’s Westin St Francis wedding was an absolutely elegant and beautiful event coordinated by the talented team at Zella Events. They built their theme around the city and style of Paris, using photos from their trip and iconic references to the city. The day started off at the Westin St Francis right by Union Square in San Francisco. Michele was a little nervous but was surrounded by her loving and lovely bridesmaids and matron and maid of honor. Meanwhile, Randy (possibly one of the most stylish grooms I’ve come across) was slipping on his Christian Louboutins–a perfect choice of shoes for a Catholic ceremony when you’re going to be kneeling for a significant portion of it. The ceremony was at the beautiful Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church. After some portraits in the surrounding areas, Michele & Randy’s entourage made their way back to the Westin for cocktail hour and the reception, which was held in Victor’s and Alexandra’s, respectively, on the Imperial Floor. Alexandra’s sweeping views of the city and modern aesthetic were complemented by the floral designs of David Wong from Absolute Elegance.
Spending time with the couple and their friends and family throughout the day is one of the things that makes me love what I do. Seeing a glimpse into the lives of a group of people who care so deeply for each other, learning about how their friendships grew over the years from the toasts all are reminders of what makes all of us special. It’s beautiful to see people come together for couples like Michele and Randy who hold friends and family (which are terms that seem more synonymous for them) so close to their hearts. The day was packed full of joy and laughter. But enough words, since I imagine you didn’t come here for that… here are a few of my favorite photos from throughout the day.
All of this of course wouldn’t have come together without the stellar team of vendors:
One of the best sets I've seen in a long time! Great work my friend!
