Lisa & Chapin’s Inn at Spanish Bay Wedding in Pebble Beach was one of the biggest that I had the pleasure and honor of photographing this year. The setting was stunning and the decor and details straight out of a magazine, but what really struck me was how emotionally connected the entire guest-list were. Despite having a headcount of over 200, looking around, you’d figure everyone had known everyone else for decades. The sense of family and oneness preceded the wedding itself in away that made the ceremony seem more a formality of an already unified group of people. From the welcome party at the Pebble Beach Beach & Tennis Club to the wedding day festivities and epic dance party at The Inn at Spanish Bay, we clocked in about 20 hrs of coverage. Out of all of it, I think my favorite part was the chair dance–but I can’t help but love that at literally every Jewish wedding I’ve photographed. It’s just so great to see all the family and guests circling the couple, dancing and smiling!
