Alina and Nick’s wedding at the Julia Morgan Ballroom and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church was an incredible display of elegance, beauty, and love. The traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony at the stunning Holy Trinity Church was the first I’ve photographed. It’s always interesting to see how different cultures unify couples and their families. After the ceremony we headed off to the Julia Morgan Ballroom, a classic and historic ballroom at the top of the Merchants Exchange Building, overlooking downtown San Francisco. It was the perfect setting for their black tie wedding reception. After a few portraits around the block, the guests entered the space that was adorned with the beautiful floral work of Mandy Scott, who was also the event planner for the day. Upon Alina and Nick’s entrance the dance floor pretty much immediately erupted into action. Dancing and laughter and moving toasts accompanied their dinner that night.
