I first met Michelle and Wes at their friends Kelly & Ben’s Meritage Resort wedding back in 2018. Well, “met” is a strong word, but I did take a photo of them at the time… They ended up reaching out to me to photograph their Yountville Estate Wedding, originally scheduled for 2020. I was of course delighted because I love that venue and it’s always great to have a personal connection through a past client!

The couple and their entourage got ready and held their reception at the Estate Yountville. Hair and makeup for Michelle was done by the talented Eliza Desch. The ceremony was later held in the chapel at Mont La Salle (another favorite Napa spot of mine). After the ceremony, we did a few portraits at the chapel and then headed back to the Estate for wedding party photos and a few more portraits before joining guests in the Yountville Pavilion area. I loved the aesthetic envisioned and executed by Erin Vigil (from Your Event by Erin). The florals were done by Pico Soriano. After dinner and the toasts, the guests were escorted to the barrel room where they enjoyed Gelato served up by SF Gelateria and electrifying live music by the Groove Doctors.

Michelle and Wes kicked off the dancing and desert with their first dance, followed by serving each other a scoop of the Gelato. It was an absolute delight!
