Luana and Ed’s Palace of Fine Arts wedding was my last of 2017. It was such a fun one to end on. We started out at the Kimpton Buchanan Hotel on Fillmore where the wedding party got glammed up for the day. Once we all got to the Palace of Fine Arts, Luana and Ed experienced their “first look” as friends and family watched from afar. That soft fall light striking through the Palace of Fine Arts made for some pretty epic opportunities in an already striking environment. As I watched people walk through a sliver of light that streaked across the path of the aisle, I knew exactly the shot I wanted of Luana and her father coming down–highlighted with the grandeur of the palace around them–a perspective that I’m sure Ed would be happy to relive.

After the ceremony and portraits at the Palace of Fine Arts, we headed over to Fort Mason’s Gallery 308 for the reception. Jennifer Pham of Smitten Kiss did an incredible job blending the industrial vibe with a high class feel with the event design. I had an amazing time with these two–especially with the time we had for creative portraits. Definitely ended this season on a high note! Check out some of my favorites below…
