Olivia & Ryan’s Palace Hotel wedding, designed and planned by Mandy Scott Events was absolutely gorgeous. Originally from Texas, Olivia and Ryan moved to the Bay Area to begin a new chapter in their lives. Within their first couple of years here, Ryan popped the question and they decided to celebrate their wedding in the wonderful city I get to call home: San Francisco. With a history that goes back more than 10 years, Olivia and Ryan share a wonderful community of close family and friends, which made for many heartwarming toasts throughout both the rehearsal dinner at Jardinière and their wedding on the following day. The union of two families is always a beautiful thing. Seeing the face of Olivia’s mother glow as her daughter transformed from a beautiful woman into a gorgeous bride, watching Ryan pumping his fist triumphantly as they raced down the aisle as newlyweds, and hearing Carly, Olivia’s Matron of Honor attempt a few words in Polish are just some of the memories recorded from their wedding day. The Palace Hotel served as an amazing and classically beautiful setting for their city wedding. The ceremony was held in the Sunset Court, under a majestic glass barrel vault that spanned the entire length of the space. The side aisle were lined with planters and the ceremony stage was adorned with the floral designs of Mandy Scott Flowers. The guests moved to the Regency Foyer for cocktails while Olivia and Ryan spent some portrait time in the French Parlor. The reception was held in the Gold Ballroom, an expansive and impressive space with vintage chandeliers. Guests enjoyed dinner and toasts with ambience provided through lighting design and music by Gatsby Entertainment. And Pop Rocks indeed rocked and provided the music and energy through the rest of the night. If photos are more your cup of tea than words, then you’re in luck because I’ve run out of words but have heaps of photos of their Palace Hotel wedding to share. Enjoy!
