Anna and Matt should write a tutorial on how to throw the perfect wedding after my experience photographing their Arista Winery wedding. Some unique touches that felt incredibly genuine, personal, and creative included things like a crossword puzzle on the back of their wedding program that doubled as a shade from the wine-country sun, and instead of having a bridal party at the front, they welcomed their immediate families to share in the ceremonial aspects–a remarkably simple , yet powerful shake-up of the traditional lineup. When I saw it I just thought, This makes total sense… The service, officiated by Anna’s brother, was beautifully delivered with touches of humor, personality, and a heartfelt acknowledgement all the guests (in the form of a scholarly, cartographic analysis) who came far and wide from across the country to join in the jubilee. It didn’t hurt that the backdrop of the incredibly picturesque Arista Winery property provided an awe-inspiring environment at every turn. It’s not hard to see from the photographs that people were just totally focused on enjoying themselves and honoring the joining of these families. It is my utmost pleasure to present to you some of my favorite photographs from Anna and Matt’s wedding at Arista Winery.
Shout out to the awesome team that help make this beautiful wedding flow oh-so-smoothly!
