Ladies and Gentlemen, the Doctors are in. Katie and Jim’s celebrated their wedding day at Vine Hill House in Sebastopol, nestled in the Russian River Valley region of Sonoma County. The O’Connell Property was perfectly set up to keep the day flowing smoothly, allowing many opportunities for friends and family to catch up and really enjoy a day in wine country. The ceremony sat underneath a grove of trees, opening up to create a beautiful vista of the Sonoma countryside. The guests enjoyed the same sweeping views of the vineyards and the distant mountains beyond during the dinner reception and speeches. And having such quick access to some picturesque spots nearby allowed us to sneak away for some golden hour portraits. The first dance was held in the same area of the ceremony, with some accents from the string lights and hanging paper lanterns above. But my hat goes off to Katie and her dad for their amazing first dance routine (which sported hats of their own)! It is just one highlight of the joyous energy of the whole day. When the dance floor opened up I’ve never seen a group hit the tiles faster.
