Kelcy and Hugo’s Olympic Club Lakeside wedding was one of my favorites this year! Mandy Scott and team put together a beautiful, classic style that created the perfect environment for the elegant couple. The day began at the modern St. Regis San Francisco downtown, where Kelcy’s hair and makeup were done by Melisa Hall and Kelcy & Hugo had their first look. From there we took the limo to the St Ignatius Church on the USF campus–a favorite of mine in the city–where the ceremony was held. Afterwards we moved further west to the Olympic Club Lakeside, a spectacular setting for the reception designed by Arthur Brown–the same architect of San Franisco’s own City Hall building. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the ballroom while the Busta Groove, the live band, performed on stage. The banquet hall was set with gorgeous floral design by Natasha Kolenko, providing a splash of color to the classic architecture. After a heartfelt welcome toast by Hugo’s father and a warm prayer, guests were invited to enjoy their meals, with a few more lovely toasts throughout. The party transitioned to the ballroom where Busta Groove kicked off their set with Kelcy & Hugo’s first dance and parent dances. The floor filled quickly when opened up for open dancing and the band kept the energy high. Anyway, enough words, you probably came here for photos–here are some of my favorites from this recent Olympic Club Lakeside wedding:
