When Becky and Brian were planning their stunning Beaulieu Garden wedding, they were thinking about their love of travel. Napa Valley is one of their favorite destinations and also reminded them of their love of French gardens, so when they came upon Beaulieu, their decision on the location was practically made for them. Working with Hilary Marie, their wedding planner, they put together a romantic fall palette of colors, florals and linens that complemented the beauty of Beaulieu Garden.
The wedding day also happened to fall on their 6th anniversary of the day the newlyweds first met.
The morning started out with Becky and her unofficial bridesmaids (they chose not to have a wedding party) hanging out with sparkling wine and getting their hair and makeup done. The vibe was serene, yet celebratory.
Meanwhile the guys got ready at Las Alcobas, a nearby hotel that had sweeping views of the landscape and vineyards.
Once Brian was ready, he headed over to Beaulieu Garden for their first look. Because Becky and Brian were so enamored with the venue, they wanted to spend as much time as they could before guests arrived taking portraits around the property.
As guests arrived, they were ushered to the ceremony site at the Sunken Garden where Harpist Krista Strader provided soft, romantic music, adding to the atmosphere of the fall Beaulieu Garden wedding. The ceremony was sweet, and simple with the couple reading their personal vows to one another.
After the ceremony, Becky and Brian spent a little more time taking portraits with the softer late afternoon light coming in before joining cocktail hour.
Becky and Brian’s Beaulieu Garden wedding continued with a dinner reception under the arbor, with beautiful chandeliers hanging over tables. The floral arrangements by Flower Girl Em and soft linens complemented the picturesque setting.
Becky and Brian entered the reception from the vineyards and were announced for the first time as Mr & Mrs Gordon. I particularly love the touch of fun as Brian grabbed an entire bottle of bubbly on the way in.
As the sun set, over the vineyards a full moon rose. The guests all started moving towards the vineyards to watch the moonrise. Becky and Brian stole a moment to take advantage of this beautiful scene as well.
After dinner, the newlyweds cut the cake and invited all the guests over to the dance floor where they kicked off the dancing.
The Lucky Devils Band provided a constant flow of energetic music, keeping the dance floor occupied all night.
And before the night was over, we did a quick portrait under the twinkling lights of the arbor.
