Laura and Kevin’s Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch wedding was incredible. But before we get into it, let me back up a little bit. I first met Laura at her sister Lili’s wedding, which I photographed in May of 2013. And I had the good fortune of booking that wedding because I first met Kevin from my day job just a few months before deciding to go full time photographer in 2012. As fate would have it, this stylish couple ended up getting engaged last year and asked me to photograph their wedding too! In any case I was ecstatic and had been looking forward to this for quite a while. Both being architects and designers, Laura and Kevin had a more unique style and wanted to change up tradition a bit. The rings were crafted and designed by Kevin. The bridesmaids’ vintage copper belts were collected over the course of about a year before the wedding. Laura’s dress was a chic champagne color. And the bouquets by EV Floral were accented with large feathers.
The day began at the Solage Calistoga in Napa Valley where Kevin and Laura got ready in the company of their closest friends and family before their first look. We then transitioned to Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch, a beautiful property in St. Helena where the ceremony and reception were held. The ceremony was officiated by Laura’s uncle (who also did the same for Lili and Steven). Guests enjoyed cocktail hour, followed by dinner in the lawn near the vineyards. Later in the evening after a few beautiful toasts and dinner, the fire pits were lit and marshmallows roasted over open fire before dancing moved indoors. Laura and Kevin would be sent off with a sparkler exit into the night. Below are some of my favorite photos from their Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch wedding. Enjoy!
