If you’re looking for what happens when love, beauty and elegant design come together for a wedding celebration then you won’t want to scroll too quickly through Neha and Ryan’s Meritage Resort Wedding. Indian weddings are renown for their amazing, vibrant colors and festive traditions, but you combine that with Neha and Ryan’s elegant sense of style and the event design expertise of Mandy Scott, you get a recipe for something that does not disappoint. On a visual level, there was so much to work with, but not only that, Neha and Ryan’s enthusiasm (matched heartily by their wedding party and friends and family), gave me about 18 hours over 3 days of non-stop action at the Meritage Resort and Spa. It kicked off with the Mehendi Party, where Neha’s Henna was created by artist Ravie Kattaura. The following evening was the Sangheet Party, with some fantastic performances by Neha’s friends and family. Then came the big day, from getting ready, to their first look and the Baraat (which included some pretty awesome and energetic dancing by Ryan), and finally the ceremony and reception, there was hardly a moment where I felt like I could put my camera down with so much going on. The end result is definitely one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had photographing weddings. I did my best to narrow down this set of favorite images, so forgive me for the abundance of photos to follow. Enjoy!

Beautiful work! I was wondering when the wedding actually took place. I am thinking of having my wedding at Meritage Resort and Spa next Spring!
Hi Anna! Thanks for the kind words. This wedding took place in very early October. It was still actually quite warm that day (in the mid to high 80s if I recall). Hope that helps!
