Flushmount Wedding Album by Queensberry

HEIRLOOM ALBUMS

In the digital age, I think it's easy to forget about the power of flipping through a classic photo album. But I think that photographs deserve to be printed—especially ones that serve as a reminder of significant moments in your life. Many of my clients have told me how wonderful it is to have a book on their coffee table to look through every once in a while—a habit we don't typically form with images that we store on our phones or our hard drives. So I am proud to be able to offer a few different options of wedding albums for you to choose from.

THE PROCESS

In three stages:

1
Stage 1:

PRE-DESIGN

In the pre-design phase, you'll select the album style and size. I can build a design based off of your image selects or begin from scratch with photos that I feel tell the story of the wedding day.

2
Stage 2:

REVISIONS

Once the initial draft is complete, you'll receive a link to proof the design online. We'll go through three rounds of revisions so that you can swap images, make layout requests, or add to the design. If the cover design hasn't been finalized, it would be done at the conclusion of this stage.

3
Stage 3:

APPROVAL

Upon final approval, any outstanding balances will be invoiced and the order will be placed with the album vendor upon payment. Production time varies but typically is completed and shipped within 6 weeks. During busier times, this may take up to 8 weeks.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

How many images fit in an album?

This depends largely on page count. But as a rule of thumb, I try to aim for around an average of 4 photos per spread. So for a 20 page book, you could comfortably fit about 40 photos.

What is the maximum number of pages?

Maximum page count for any book is 60 pages (or 30 spreads).

Do you offer duplicate copies of the books for gifts?

Yes, you can purchase exact duplicates of your albums at 60% of the main album price. For the Artisan or Flushmount books, you may also purchase smaller Companion books for $800. Companion books come as flushmount copies and are smaller than the original book (typically 10" on the long side for landscape sized books).

Are photos in the album retouched?

I offer limited retouching services based on your requests. Charges may apply for substantial editing, but this depends on a case by case basis.

What cover materials are available?

I primarily work with two vendors for books: Queensberry and Renaissance Albums. They have a rich selection of materials, though I tend to favor the classic black or white leathers. When deciding on the cover materials, I will let you know which ones are available and provide guidance if you're unsure.

How durable are the albums?

Both Renaissance and Queensberry deliver very high quality, durable books. Assuming the books aren't physically mishandled and kept out of direct sunlight, the books should be very long lasting. Queensberry offers a 2 year manufacturer's defect guarantee. Renaissance Albums provides a lifetime guarantee. Neither covers accidental damage or normal wear and tear.
